What’s Your Moment?

What’s Your Moment?

Our lives are made up of a series of threads that come together into a beautiful woven tapestry that we can’t even begin to imagine until we have the ability to look back and see how each interconnected with each other.

For the most part, we may be unaware of each thread as we go through our day-to-day life.  However, there are times in life, specific moments, that will cause us to sit up and take notice.  Perhaps it is a moment that leads you to discovering your life path.  Or it’s a moment that causes you to be fully present and aware for the first time ever.  Or maybe the moment is one that allows you to see that you have hit rock bottom and that there is no where to go but up.  Whatever the moment, it is pivotal to your life journey.

I’ve had two moments within the last 4-5 years that changed my life significantly.

The first was when I was on a long-overdue vacation in Mexico.  I was walking down the street, trying to find the town green and got lost.  A very nice hotel worker saw me and offered to walk me there.  He and I chatted while we walked.  When we got to the town green, he said to me, “There is someone I need to introduce you to.”  With that, he led me to a building near the town green and introduced me to a Mayan shaman.

When the shaman and I looked at each other, there was an electric moment, a knowing and an understanding that we were meant to meet.  We both felt it.  The shaman immediately started telling me about shamanism, ultimately became one of my shamanic teachers, and helped me on a new life path

The second was when I was in a bad accident.  I was walking across the street and a guy in a minivan hit me going around 20-25 miles an hour.  I rode on the hood for a little bit before he stopped.  The impact left me with a few broken bones and home on disability for about 3 months.

I was very lucky.  If I had fallen under the wheels (instead of up on the hood), I most likely would have died.  That realization made me look at all aspects of my life and clearly define the type of life I wanted to create.  It also gave me the time to write a book!

What are your moments?  And where have they lead you?

My moment came when the greatest love of my life, my grandmother, transitioned forward which was very recent. Before her passing she began communicating with me through my clairaudience, which has led me to doing intuitive readings. I’ve always wanted to but never had the confidence to until now. Her passing changed the world as I knew it forever. Now I’m moving into a world I’ve always wanted to build.

Wow! I’m so sorry for the loss of your grandmother. But it sounds like she is really opening a lot of new gifts and opportunities for you!

Thank you for your condolences and yes she has. I didn’t realize that until my mentor suggested the same. There’s no way I can digress from here!
